TMF2023: The european finals
After the extraordinary success of last year, from November 27th to December 2nd, the European finals of the 15th edition of Tour Music Fest – The European Music Contest will return in the wonderful setting of the Republic of San Marino.
From November 27th to December 2nd, the “Tour Music Fest – Music, Meeting, and Festival,” the largest European music competition, will be held in the magical setting of the Republic of San Marino. It will be a grand festival with a rich program of over 50 events, including performances, music contests, meetings, workshops, concerts, masterclasses, DJ sets, and music workshops.
All of this will be live and accompanied by great artists and personalities such as Beppe Vessicchio, Ensi, Kara DioGuardi, former judge of American Idol, Paola Folli, Mazay DJ, Giuseppe Anastasi, Francesco Rapaccioli (vocal coach for Lazza and Irama), the Tour Music Fest coaches, and many other industry professionals who will alternate between performances, music training masterclasses, and acting as judges during the finals of Tour Music Fest 2023.
“Compared to the previous edition of Tour Music Fest, this year the contest has returned to Europe with a tour that involved 9 countries,” said Gianluca Musso, director of Tour Music Fest. He continued, “It will be a week in which San Marino will be the beating heart of emerging European music, a perfect opportunity to enjoy new music and meet Italian and international music legends who will make themselves available to the public and emerging artists to offer great music, experiences, training, and support to the new generations of musicians. SHOW PROGRAM
The festival, endorsed by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Posts, Cooperation, and Expo of San Marino, will take place in the major theaters of San Marino with a rich program of events. Among these is the show “Queen at The Opera – Redux,” the biggest tribute to Queen ever performed, scheduled for December 1st at 9:00 PM at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana. The show, engaged in a tour of the biggest European theaters, arrives in San Marino for 90 minutes of pure entertainment, featuring a live band, a string quartet, and three singers accompanied by stunning visual effects for a complete immersion in the music of Queen, Freddie Mercury, and their greatest hits. On Saturday, December 2nd, at 9:00 PM, also at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana, the Tour Music Fest grand finals will take place. The best emerging artists selected across Europe, including singers, rappers, bands, and DJs, will compete for the title “Artist of The Year” and a budget of 10,000 Euros for the production of an album, a concert tour, and many other prizes. MASTERCLASSES AND ARTISTIC MEETINGS
The purpose of the event is to offer emerging artists both a performance experience and educational opportunities. Throughout the week, there will be many free masterclasses and artistic meetings for those interested in music. Over 50 free events will provide a 360-degree music experience.
The week starts with DJ Mazay’s masterclass, “How to Build a DJ Career,” on November 27th at the Sala Little Tony. On November 28th, there will be an artistic meeting with Ensi, dedicated to the world of rap, and on November 29th and 30th, influencer Annalù and Sammarinese Monica Hill will talk about interpretation and the singer’s profession.
On November 29th, at the Teatro Titano, there will be a masterclass by Giuseppe Anastasi, one of Italy’s most prolific songwriters, on songwriting. On November 30th, the famous singer Paola Folli and Francesco Rapaccioli, artistic coach for Lazza and Irama in the last two editions of San Remo, will hold masterclasses on vocal techniques and artistic preparation.
On December 2nd, at the Teatro Titano, Maestro Beppe Vessicchio, director of the Italian commission of Tour Music Fest, will hold a masterclass on “Artistic Truth in Music,” and American Kara DioGuardi, author and producer for Pink, Anastacia, Laura Pausini, Britney Spears, and many other world-class artists, will hold a masterclass on artistic identity.

THE MUSIC CONTEST
During the six days of the festival, over 600 artists and bands from all over Europe will compete on the stages of San Marino’s theaters. There will be performances by talented emerging singers, rappers, musicians, and DJs.
It all begins on Monday, November 27th, and Tuesday, November 28th, at the Sala Little Tony, dedicated to the great artist of Sammarinese origin, with the DJ contest of the Tour Music Fest, where emerging DJs and producers will showcase their skills in front of Mazay DJ, a well-known Italian DJ who has performed in the most important Italian and international clubs.
On Tuesday, November 28th, at the Sala Little Tony, it will be the turn of the Rap contest, where the best emerging rappers will take the stage to showcase their bars and performances before Ensi, Italy’s best freestyler and a prominent figure in the country’s rap scene. Simultaneously, on the same day, the finals for musicians and junior musicians of TMF will take place at the Teatro Titano. This event will feature the performances of the best drummers, pianists, guitarists, and bassists selected during the international tour, competing for prizes offered by Algam Eko, Italy’s largest distributor of musical instruments.
From Wednesday, November 29th, to Thursday, November 30th, it will be the turn of the singers and songwriters of Tour Music Fest, who will perform their songs at the Teatro Titano and Sala Little Tony in front of the TMF panel. This panel includes special guests like Paola Folli, Francesco Rapaccioli, Vlter Sacripanti (composer and musician for Nek, Ivana Spagna, and many others), Francesco Gazzè, Giuseppe Anastasi (author for Arisa and Michele Bravi), and many other professionals.
On Thursday, November 30th, at the Sala Little Tony, the Band Contest “Riunite la band” will take place, produced in collaboration with Riunite, the world’s most consumed Lambrusco. The best band will be rewarded with the production of a single at the Abbey Road Studios in London.
