TMF has finally kicked off with the first round of auditions on May 17 in Rome and is now ready to hit Europe.
Tour Music Fest, the first European Contest dedicated to emerging music, is back for its twelfth edition. After taking off from Rome in May, TMF will soon be in five countries in both Europe and the UK, leading up to the European Final set for December 7, 2019, at Auditorium del Massimo in Rome.
“We’ve started in a great way” – stated Gianluca Musso, General Director to TMF. – “These 3 days in Rome have given us all the energy we need to face the first round of auditions in 23 cities in Italy and then in Europe. Rome always proves to be one of the warmest places with an incredible variety of musical proposal, thanks to a melting pot of different cultures one can find throughout our city. For this reason, each performance is unique and a surprise. I was glad to see an extremely satisfied official judging panel, thanks to a high artistic level, straight from the start. This is what pleases me the most.”
The TMF official judging panel listens to the participating artists all over Italy and offers them professional feedback and suggestions on how to continue their artistic journey.
Taking part in Tour Music Fest means living a unique experience of artistic growth, of confrontation and musical sharing, with artists, that are all united by the same passion, coming from all over the UK and the rest of Europe.
After the first preliminary round of auditions, London (UK), Madrid and Alicante (Spain), Rome (Italy), Sliema (Malta), and Lugano (Switzerland) will be the European cities to host the live auditions searching for the best European artists that will be performing on that breathtaking stage for the European Final this coming December 7 in Rome.
For this year’s twelfth edition, the prizes up for grabs are remarkable: a sponsorship contract worth €10,000, 3 scholarships towards music courses held by Berklee – College of Music in Boston, the production of a single with post-production at Abbey Road Studios in London (where The Beatles recorded, if you know what we mean) and distributed by Sony Music, and even €15,000 towards organizing an International Tour.
