Berklee College of Music Masterclass 2026: Voice, Songwriting and Performance for Tour Music Fest Artists
Tour Music Fest – The European Music Contest is not just a music competition, but a journey designed to offer artists concrete opportunities to connect, learn and grow.
In 2026, one of the most important educational events of the TMF experience returns: the online Masterclasses held in collaboration with Berklee College of Music, one of the world’s most prestigious music institutions.
Three exclusive sessions, three Berklee coaches and three fundamental aspects of an artist’s journey: voice, songwriting and stage performance.
On September 16, 22 and 23, 2026, artists participating in Tour Music Fest will have the opportunity to meet Michael Sean Harris, Valerie Orth and Kaimy Masse online, Berklee faculty members with extensive experience in music, education and performance.
A Three-Step Journey: Voice, Song, Stage
Talent is important. But building an artistic career means learning how to understand and make the most of your creative tools.
That’s why the Berklee 2026 program takes artists through three closely connected dimensions:
VOICE – developing and optimizing your vocal instrument.
SONG – turning ideas, emotions and identity into a song.
STAGE – bringing it all to the stage and transforming it into a performance that truly connects with the audience.

MICHAEL SEAN HARRIS
OPTIMIZING YOUR VOCAL SKILLS

The first session will focus on the most personal instrument a singer has: their own voice.
In the masterclass “Optimizing Your Vocal Skills,” Michael Sean Harris will guide artists through a session designed to help them develop a deeper awareness of their vocal abilities and learn how to use them more effectively in service of interpretation and performance.
A vocalist, musician, performer, songwriter and educator, Michael Sean Harris is an Assistant Professor in the Voice Department at Berklee College of Music.
This masterclass is particularly suited for artists who want to develop greater control, awareness and effectiveness in the use of their voice.
SEPTEMBER 22, 2026
time: 06:00 Pm CEST (Central European Summer Time)
VALERIE ORTH
YOUR VOICE, YOUR SONG

The second session shifts the focus from the voice as an instrument to the artistic voice—the one that allows a songwriter to express themselves through a song.
With “Your Voice, Your Song,” Valerie Orth will guide artists through the world of songwriting, exploring the connection between writing, personal identity, and the ability to transform an idea into something that truly represents who we are.
Valerie Orth is a songwriter, performing artist, producer, and educator. Throughout her career, she has combined her work as an artist with music production and teaching, working with artists and songwriters and developing an approach to songwriting strongly focused on finding a personal and distinctive artistic voice.
A valuable session for singer-songwriters, songwriters, producers, and all artists interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the creative process behind a song.
SEPTEMBER 23, 2026
time: 06:00 Pm CEST (Central European Summer Time)
KAIMY MASSE
BRINGING YOUR PERFORMANCE TO THE STAGE

A voice can be technically well-trained. A song can be beautifully written. But when it’s time to step onto the stage, something different comes into play: the ability to transform music, technique and emotion into a compelling performance.
This is at the heart of the masterclass “Bringing Your Performance to the Stage” with Kaimy Masse.
A vocalist, songwriter, actress and educator, Kaimy Masse is an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music and brings extensive live performance experience to her teaching.
Throughout her career, she has performed with and for internationally renowned artists and has developed remarkable versatility across genres including gospel, R&B, pop, jazz, Motown and hip-hop.
The masterclass will be an opportunity to explore what happens when an artist leaves the rehearsal room and steps in front of an audience: how to bring your identity to the stage, communicate a song and deliver a convincing and effective performance.
