We’ve asked ourselves the same question, and we’d like to inform both our artists and those interested in participating why there is a registration fee to sign up for Tour Music Fest.

Let’s start from the fact that at the moment Tour Music Fest does not receive any sort of public or private financing.

The organization’s goal is to completely eliminate the registration fee and any other costs the artists may have to face.

There are quite a few competitions in Europe that charge between 60 and 300 euros in order to participate and we believe that this is admissible if appropriately justified.

Tour Music Fest justifies the requested registration fee for the following reasons:

LIVE AUDITIONS IN EUROPE

Tour Music Fest holds live auditions all over Europe right from the start, cutting costs for food, board and transport that each artist would have to pay otherwise (ex: If the auditions were only held in one European city, each artist would spend more for their transport than they would for the registration fee).

YOU ONLY PAY IF YOU PASS THE FIRST AUDITION

Tour Music Fest asks for a registration fee only if the artist is found artistically eligible to pass on to the second round.

QUALITY VENUES

The auditions are only held in theaters, live venues, professional rehearsal rooms and recording studios. We believe that artists need to feel comfortable in order to perform better, from both a technical and sound point of view.

AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT

Tour Music Fest’s auditions are only by appointment. This means that every single artist is convened at a precise time and date, avoiding waiting on line for hours in order to audition. This means that that we will only take up one hour of the artist’s day, making it easier to organize one’s day without losing precious hours from work or study.

NO OBLIGATION TO BRING AN AUDIENCE

Many festivals base their artistic choices by letting the audience decide, which can easily alter an objective artistic evaluation, giving an advantage to those who bring more people to watch the show. This is why Tour Music Fest does not oblige artists to bring an audience or pay for tickets to the shows.

ARTISTIC FEEDBACK

We believe that a simple audition is not enough for our artists. That is why after every single audition our judging panel speaks privately with each single artist, pointing out what “worked” and what “didn’t” during the performance, offering a 360° artistic consultancy.

FREE SERVICES

By signing up to the festival, the organization offers both photos and videos of the experience along with a certificate of attendance, plus a subscription to the festival’s newsletter with articles and interviews about emerging music and artists.

PRIZES

Tour Music Fest has amazing prizes worth between €75,000 and €100,000. Do you know other events that offer this much?

THE EUROPEAN FINAL

The Tour Music Fest European Final is the biggest event for European emerging music, a magnificent stage to promote one’s music and it is held in one of the most important historical venues for Italian music, the Piper Club in Rome.

ADMISSION FREE

In order to make sure we have a great audience for all of our live shows, Tour Music Fest live concerts are always free of admission.
