Out today “Ya estoy lista”, the new single by Siria, the winning “Singer-Songwriter” of TMF Europe 2018.

“Ya estoy lista”, the new single by Siria, the winning “Singer-Songwriter” of TMF Europe 2018 is out today, July 12th. Thanks to the prize won during the European Final, the song was produced in collaboration with producer Marco Gollini, owner of Mad Records, an Italian label, post-produced at Abbey Road Studios in London and distributed by Sony Music Italy.

Maria Hidalgo Gil, known by her stage name Siria, is a young Spanish singer-songwriter, who won TMF 2018 in the “Singer-Songwriter Europe” category during the European final held in Auditorium del Massimo in Rome this past December. She performed her song “Ya estoy lista” in front of the judging panel headed by Mogol, the most renowned Italian songwriter. The prize gave her the opportunity to produce her song with Mad Records, an Italian music label based in Rome, always in line with TMF’S mission, in supporting emerging music. 

Siria recently spent three days in Italy, to work on her new song side by side with Marco Gollini, artistic director of Mad Records, producer, arranger, and composer who, throughout his career, worked with some of the most important figures in the Italian music scenario, such as Lucio Dalla.

All of this was fundamental for our job together in mixing her Spanish traditions with European sound. Her voice, her passion for singing and her strength for communicating feelings highly struck me.“

The unreleased track “Ya estoy lista” is now a brand new song thanks to the help of the label involved in supporting emerging music straight from the start. Mad Records offers the artists its own know-how in order to create the best product ever. In addition, thanks to the prize, Siria’s song was post-produced at Abbey Road Studios in London and distributed by Sony Music Italy.
